today i found this journal
So I just posted a new swap on Swap-Bot for the Down The Rabbit Hole Group.
There is two parts to this swap.
Part One: You will be altering a journal so that the journal is decorated in an Alice in Wonderland themed scene.
For example: You Could decorate the journal so it was a scene of the rabbit hole, the tea party, the rabbits house, the race to shore, garden of talking flowers, or the strange game of croquet are to name a few scenes. The decorations can include characters if you wish or can just be the setting. But the journal should be themed to Alice in Wonderland.
Once you are finished with the journal remember to wrap it up like a gift ( tissue and a ribbon or even nice string will do)
Part Two: You will write a letter to accompany your journal. This should be attached to the “gift”. The letter should include the following: ~ A description of your day or part of your day in detail through the eyes of your favorite character. ~ The location to where you found this journal ( this would be the place where your journal theme was made)
For Example: If I chose my character to be one of the playing cards I would describe how my day was going right before I was sent out into the garden to paint the roses red by the queen. I could say I found this beautiful journal on the base of the rose bush were I saw another worker working diligently. I could say that I was looking for a wonderful person to give this to.
Please feel free to view this swap on Swap-Bot here.

Hey Make Sure You Read This Book
Its cold and rainy here and i don't have any books to read and I hate searching for books myself. I like when others point out books for me so I've decided to host a swap. I'm on a swap hosting kick! Sweet!

Altered Journal Swap
Another swap done! I love joining journal swaps on Swap-Bot. This took me a long time. I tend to strip books down to nothing and then rebind or use in alternative ways. Well I had a found a very old comp book that was only 30 pages. So i added more paper and rebound the book. Then I altered the journal. After a while of working on it its finally done and sent off to smmarrty.
Below is the front and inside cover of the journal.

Well my only other hope is that she loves it!

Giving An Old Tee Shirt A New Look
Part of the glory of being able to create amazing fun things from items you already have is knowing how to make it.
Heres the deal,There are two parts to this.
Part One: Create an Item Part Two: Give a brief description of how you made it, so we can recycle a little more in this world!
Find A Clean "Old Tee Shirt" and lets turn this old tee shirt into a recyclable beauty. You can use the tee shirt to cover a beautiful homemade journal. You can make a very handy reusable grocery bag from this tee shirt. What about a pretty clutch? Perhaps A Comfy Lap Blanket, the possibilities are endless.
The only requirements is that you make your partner something amazing, something you yourself would love to receive.
This is senders choice, but it must be a RECYCLED Hand Made item by you!
Please ask me any questions if one should arise. No recent one's. Unexplained threes will be booted from this swap as well.
This was an example to the swap ( the inspiration behind it all really)
Directions:
Take the desired Tee Shirt and cut it to your liking and Sew it onto a thicker material, I used what i had around the house from an old project.
Sew on the image to your choosing.
Sew pillow together and there you have it.
This was so easy to make but it really makes an alternative for keeping that special tee in your life in a whole new life!

Making curtains from old fabric, Spring Cleaning, and Creating a new Swap!
Just finished sewing curtains from scratch. Okay so I don't know what i love more the fact that i spent no money, the fact that i spent no gas in the making of them, or the amazing factor that they look amazing. Just Happy.
This gave me an idea to Spring Clean and as one knows cleaning just trickles down to area to area and soon enough one has conquered the house. They have a pile of things you don't need or want anymore.
The Ah Ha Moment. Recently I had just Made a pillow for my little cousin that inspired the stack of tee shirts of my bed to be put to good use!
